The Pathology Mentorship Program (PMP) aims to match the expertise and interests of our volunteer mentors to the expressed need of mentees who are interested in the field of Pathology.
We welcome all individuals to become a mentee who:
Are willing to make a personal commitment to work with their mentor
Will assume an active role in their mentoring partnership, initiating contact as necessary
Have a direction or clear goals established and are internally motivated to learn through the experiences of others
We are looking for mentors who can:
Maintain frequent contact with mentees, assess their needs, and provide resources and support
Complete monthly feedback forms for reflection and accountability purposes
Participate in mixer events with their mentee
Problem solve and provide constructive feedback
Help their mentees develop personal leadership skills and meet their goals
